Rdeča zvrst Cabernet Sauvignona in Merlota. Vino je bistro, rubinasto rdeče barve in gosto. Vonj je takoj zaznaven. Gre za razkošne in elegantne note črnega ribeza in borovnic, slive. Sledijo gozdni sadeži, mlečna čokolada, kava in malo poprastih tonov. Po okusu je vino suho, toplo, mehko, sveže in mineralno. To vrhunsko vino ima uravnoteženo in krepko telo, intenziven okus in eleganco ter obstojnost. Je kot nalašč za družbo krepkim mesnim jedem, intenzivnim sirom in suhomesnatim dobrotam.

The Iaquin Wine Company is the fruit of many years of work by Uroš Jakončič, a passionate winemaker from the edge of Goriška Brda. Both he and his vineyard are based in Vipolže, a place characterised by a benevolent microclimate and an authentic wine identity. In addition to rebula, you will also find chardonnay, malvasia, merlot, cabernet sauvignon and Uroš's favourite, sauvignonasse, on the Jakončič family estate. The self-taught winemaker says that most of the work is indeed done in the vineyard, but it is in the pinch, the winery, that the winemaker's touch comes out.
