Cuvee Heritage 1757 Cotes du Bourg, 2018, Chateau Gros Moulin, 0,75 l

Malbec s svoje rodne zemlje. Krasno rdeče vino z izjemno aromatiko: jagodičevje, sploh zrele borovnice, eterične vonjave – smrečje, nova savna, evkaliptus, na koncu pa zaznamo še podrast in gozdna tla ter vanilijo. Super par z rdečim mesom, sploh stejki in pečenkami, ter staranimi trdimi siri.

Meet the malbec from your native hump.

The colour is a deep ruby red.

The scents are wonderful and take you straight to the forest: berries, a wonderful smell of blueberries, blackberries, blackcurrants, wild strawberries, and a little later, ripe plum and cherry. Then the essential notes are revealed: eucalyptus, spruce, resin and the smell of a new sauna. There are also undergrowth and forest floor, and then the sweet spices of vanilla and cloves. The scent develops for quite a while, with fresh rosemary. What a wonderful aroma!

On the palate, the wine does not disappoint. The tannins are well suited to the Bordeaux terroir, the freshness and minerality go well with the softness of the wine. A pleasure.

Odličen par z mesom na žaru, zelo ga pripočamo k steakom (t-bone …), pečenkam in sirom.

Chateau Gros Moulin

Château Gros Moulin is located at the entrance to Bourg/Gironde, an ancient town situated at the confluence of the Dordogne and Garonne rivers on the right. Located in the heart of the Côtes de Bourg, a wine region with a growing reputation, the Eymas family offers top quality wines. Château Gros Moulin is a family-owned estate dating back to 1757. Until the late 19th century, the estate was a polyculture farm with a grain mill for processing the wheat grown on the estate. In 1757, the estate grew from 1 hectare to 15 hectares. Today, Château Gros Moulin has 30 hectares under vine. In 2010, after completing her studies in agriculture in Angers, Rémy Eymas, who represents the 11th generation, took over the estate from her father in order to continue the direct line of vine-growers who work the land and produce wines with heart.
