Traminer is an intense, straw yellow colour with a golden tinge and a beautiful sheen. The texture is dense. The aromas are predominantly fruity and floral and very fragrant, the scent is very fine and refined.

The aromas are concentrated and intense: jasmine blossom, orange blossom, honey, quince, almond, spices. The aromas are predominantly fruity and floral and very fragrant, the nose is very fine and refined.

The wine is also wonderful on the palate. We feel the velvetiness and aromas that only a gewurztraminer can offer. The wine is soft, beautifully balanced, gently capturing the whole mouth with an explosion of flavours and aromas.

The periwinkle is enchanting and calls out for another sip. The wine already offers much pleasure, but it still has a lot of potential for ageing.

This exceptionally sweet wine will pair beautifully with foie gras, intense cheeses and desserts.

Domaine Gruss

Alsace is a land of white wines, truly remarkable and exciting, and its reputation has been established for centuries. The Gruss family estate owns 16 hectares of vineyards, which are divided into 50 smaller sections around the picturesque village of Eguisheim. Three Grand Cru vineyards are cultivated on beautiful terroirs and predominantly limestone soil: Eichberg, Pfersiberg and Vorbourg. The appellations adjacent to the Grand Cru vineyards also produce wines with a strong character. Respectful, organic production and grapes that express their origin are the reason for the exceptional wines. Whole berry pressing and long fermentations lead to unparalleled aromas and finesse, and the efforts of everyone involved are reflected in great wines that are in constant search of balance, purity and elegance.
