"The wine is translucent, ruby red in colour and dense in texture.
The aromas are intense and subtle, and in particular they highlight the fruitiness of the black berries. Ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, plum. Notes of violet, herbs and forest undergrowth intertwined with a slightly buttery note."

The wine is translucent, ruby red in colour and dense in texture.
The aromas are intense and subtle, and in particular they highlight the fruitiness of the black berries. Ripe blackcurrant, blackberry, plum. Notes of violet, herbs and forest undergrowth, intertwined with a slightly buttery note.
The wine is dry, soft and warm. At the same time, it offers intense freshness and just the right amount of satiny tannin to balance all the sensations. The taste is intense, elegant and full. The long aftertaste reveals notes of ripe black berry fruit, with blackcurrant, plum, cherry and strawberry in particular.

Labadens

Labadens is the result of a student friendship between Fanny and Thomas. It began in 2010 when they met again in the Rhone Valley - Fanny on holiday with her family and Thomas on business as a flying oenologist between Ventoux and Vacqueyras. Their first cuvée was a red Ventoux, and this is no coincidence. It is an appellation that is often unfairly overlooked, as the terroir of the area offers excellent conditions for producing exceptional wines. Thomas soon wanted to offer white wine too. A variety he is particularly passionate about and believes in is Clairette. It is a late-ripening variety, harvested after the reds, which requires much more effort in the vineyard and the cellar. It was only natural that they named the wine after him. Since then, the range of Labadens wines has expanded. Fanny and Thomas have always remained true to the philosophy of the house - to produce balanced wines from traditional varieties using the principle of organic production.
