Bela amfora iz kleti Gordia je zvrst malvazije, sivega pinota in muškata. Po 4 mesecih maceracije v kvevrih (amforah) vino nadaljnjih 12 mesecev zori še v rabljenih sodih.
Barva je globoka jantarna, vino je gosto in v kozarcu žari. Arome so intenzivne, spomnijo na suho sadje: jabolčne krhlje, suhe marelice, kutino, ananasove krhlje in papajo. Sčasoma se razvijejo še arome po kandiranih citrusih – najprej lupina pomaranče, nato limona in rdeča grenivka. Pridružijo se timijan, divja meta in žajbelj, seno in aroma suhega rumenega cvetja in črnega čaja. Vmes se zazna aroma borove smole in grafita. Vse skupaj pa lepo podkrepijo lesne arome po karameli, janeževi zvezdi, vanilji in likviricji.
The wine is warm and soft on the palate, refreshing the mouth, but just afterwards the tannins and minerality dry it out. The intense flavour is long-lasting and the bold body shows elegance of flavour.
It is a harmonious and complex wine with many layers.

The Gordia wines were created by a twist of fate in the village of Kolobman above Ankaran, where winemaker Andrej Cep cultivates about 4 hectares of organically certified vineyards. After an unsuccessful economics degree, Andrej returned to the local tavern and took care of the kitchen. As a curious and enthusiastic youngster, his path led him to a sommelier course, where he was first introduced to organically produced and macerated wines. He became so fascinated by this world that he and his father decided to set up a vineyard on a nearby bank. Now, Andrej makes all his wines in harmony with nature, the wines are spontaneously fermented and the vineyards are certified organic. In 2021, they renovated their home and can now offer accommodation to their guests. They can enjoy the terrace, which offers a beautiful view of the Bay of Koper. The name Gordia comes from the old local name for the village of Kolomban.
