The wine is clear, ruby red in colour with a garnet tinge.

The aromas are intense and remind us of ripe black berries, blackberries, mulberries and maraschino, with notes of chocolate, leather and tobacco, as well as forest undergrowth, humus and mushrooms on the finish.

On the palate it is dry, soft and with well integrated alcohol in the structure. Fresh and with ripe tannins that act as a spice. An intense and structured wine, long and elegant in body, with notes of black berries, leather and chocolate.

Tunia

Tunia is a young property founded in 2008 by Chiara Innocenti, Francesca di Benedetto and her brother Andrea. Francesca is the heart of Tunia, managing the production as a biologist and oenologist. Tunia was the name of the most important God in the Etruscan pantheon and the estate, located in Val di Chiana in Arezzo, bears it as a tribute to the land on which it lies. In respect of it, all the produce on the farm is produced according to organic farming principles, for which they have also been certified. The estate covers 25 hectares planted with Sangiovese and Trebbiano varieties (planted in 1970) and, more recently (2005), Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese varieties. Part of the Trebbiano has recently been inoculated with Vermentino. It also boasts an olive grove of 600 olive trees.
